Step-by-Step: The CapCut Path
- Open CapCut (desktop or mobile app) and sign in with your Google account.
- In the left sidebar or home screen, tap AI Media.
- Select AI Video from the options that appear.

- Enter your prompt and generate your first clip.
The Image-First Technique (Do This Every Time)
- Inside CapCut, select Create Image instead of Create Video.
- Describe the exact frame you want: composition, lighting, style, subject position.
- Review the generated image and refine it until it's exactly what you want.
- Once you're happy with the image, use it as your starting point for the video prompt.
- Seedance 2.0 animates from that image — you control what the camera sees; the AI fills in the motion.
